Visit the Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on US soil, where King Kalakaus and his successor, Queen Lili’uokalani, held lavish entertainments and conducted diplomatic affairs of the kingdom. The Kuan Yin Temple and the Izumo Taishakyo Shrine should be on all visitors list of place to visit.

Stroll through Chinatown and shop at the Mauna Kea Marketplace or try a Dim Sum (Chinese dumpling) at one of the local restaurants. Be sure to try some of the traditional Hawaiian cuisines.

Diamond Head Crater (Leahi) is one of Hawaii’s most famous landmarks and is a popular hiking destination with panoramic views of Waikiki and the Oahu south shore.

Waikiki is the center of all of the action in Oahu. It is the location for most of the accommodation and the restaurant precinct. Historic and cultural venues take place here and it boasts the world famous Waikiki Beach which attracts millions of visitors each year.
